The founder director of the Ramanagaram Urban Co Operative Bank. The bank owes its presence to this great visionary. It was he who inspired people to come forward to establish a primary Co-Operative society and approached the Reserve Bank of India to seek their approval for opening the bank. He was a hard working farmer, a successful businessman, and a seasoned politician. He was the pioneer in the field of education in the town. He laid the foundation of the present government junior college, ramanagaram. He was the founder of MMU chain of institutions which includes MMUPUCCollege and MMUPharmacy College. He was a seasoned politician, uncontested president of the town Muncipality for atleast 2 decades in Ramanagara. Above all he was a humble person, always ready to listen and accomodate people. He wanted to liberate the local people from the pawn brokers, thus we went to establish this bank. No doubt this bank is locally known as " haji muneer's bank ". He peacefully passed away in the year 2019. We pray may his soul rest in peace.
The son of the founder director late Haji Syed Muneer . He took the baton as chairman of the bank 22 years before and was holding the post at the time of his unfortunate and unexpected death on 24th april 2021. A great orator,a seasoned politician, an able administrator, an accomplished lawyer, a great leader of people, well informed and well educated and above all a humble person. The bank is certainly at loss from his unexpected passing away. We would keep going from where he has left. We pray his soul rest in peace.
