PIGMY DEPOSITS
- The Bank is accepting pigmy deposits from public – called Rozana Bachath Deposit – no minimum, no maximum amount. There as two pigmy collectors attached to the Bank. The a/c attracts interest as follows: -
- If a/c is closed within 9 months of opening – a service charge of 3.5% is deducted from the amount.
- If closed within 9 months up to 18 months – No service charge and no interest.
- If closed after 18 months – Bank would pay interest.
- If closed between 18 months to 24 months- Bank would pay interest at the prevailing rate applicable to
the interest rate payable for the period.
